.. I can not believe I am saying this, but I have gone to my first concert in 30 years that SUCKED
THE JONAS BROS.
It was so bad I stayed in the car. They can not dance, sing or perform. It is so sad that my 14 year old daughter got snagged into this "male review" type disney scam. Like I have said in the past, I have been to many shows, and this made the days of Bo Donaldson and The Haywoods (Billy don't be a hero) look good. Brothers they are, but Osmonds they are not! At least the Osmonds can sing, dance and perform! You don't know how bad it was. My first reaction had nothing to do with screaming girls. I'm used to that. It was how bad they sounded! after a few songs I just couldn't stand it any longer and went out to the car.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BAND.-

Sometimes History repeats itself in a good way. We went to the My Chemical Romance show at Maxwell's
in Hoboken, NJ and it was Epic. No other way to discribe the awsome show that was done in for us by the band.
So small, up close and personal. I do not believe that a chance like this one will ever come again.
Our day started out with rain, and more rain later. We were number 10 & 11 to get wristbands and were told
to return back at 5pm when they opened. I don't think so, like that was going to happen. Trisha and I waited
across that street for awhile until a truck pulled in next to Maxwell's and we knew the band would not be far behind.
As they were unloading the equipment, we decided to stroll back across the street and take a chance of seeing anyone before the show.
Branches had to be cut for the truck to clear the trees in order to park close enough, and we got the chance to
see Bob pick up a branch full of wet leaves and go after the road crew with it. Funny stuff, Then He passed a
football for a short time and soon we had the nerve to ask for a picture. That went well.
Time went by and we soon had the chance to speak with Frankie and have our pictures taken with Him also.
Trisha wanted his autograph and had to ask him to sign the back of her phone....too funny to watch that manuver
of major balance. LOL
At about the same time Garard arrived and went in the door with the equipment and we didn't have a chance
to take a picture, only say Hi. And I never did see Mikie or Ray come in. I guess you can't see everything, right?
The venue allowed us to enter 10 at a time with showing our ID again at the door and we were lucky enough
to be 1st row in front of Ray.The band entered up the right side of the room and had to step all over my daughter
using her as a step stool and hand rail using her shoulders to hoist themselves up over her and the speaker that was in front of her. I really thought that she was about to faint (But she would never admit it) when she looked up
at who was walking all over her. First Frankie, then Mikie, the Bob...Ray and Gerard all man handled her in under
five minutes. It was great to look at her face as each one passed there behinds over or around her.
It really didn't matter what side you ended up on because the stage was about 15 feet wide. The manager
and camera man were to the left of us next to the speakers on the wall. Triha didn't know it then, but she would have to play a big part in pluging Ray's guitar in and holding his stand a few times from
falling and helping him get his balance once by pushing him back up to the stage when he lost his balance. It
was a close one.
The band played all the songs from The Black Parade CD and One New song that Garard wouldn't tell us the name of. He kept saying to us "I'm not going to tell you" and "we might change it, no not really, we have the name picked out" and " If I tell you, you won't like the name"...everyone was like "PLEASE TELL US" and He played it up good by saying "You know you won't like it".
Some girls had to be pulled out of the front row because they were getting smashed against the speakers
and Garard asked them if they were OK, and pulled them out onto the stage at different points in the show.
They had to go off the stage over by Trisha were the body gaurds were and that was sad that they couldn't stay
up front where they were. But If Garard takes you by the hand and brings you onto the stage, you can't complain too much.
There was a moment in the show where Garard brings up a memory of his own about Bon Jovi. He said,"I remember when I was in High school I sat next to a girl that had BON JOVI RULZ on her note book.....with a Z".
there to understand the energy within the room.

What a twist of fate. Only days after I was done with my cancer treatment and my daughter had to go with a friends mom to Vintage Vinyle, she calls me to tell me she is on her way home and The mom who took her and a friend to the free MCR concert and "meet and Greet" to get autographs made her leave without meeting them. I was so upset that I called WRRV and Told the station what she just went through..and they told me about Webster Hall. As soon as she was dropped off in our driveway, I told her to pack what she needs to go to New York City. She didn't believe me at first. I really threw her a loop.
We make a day of it. She was so happy, and forgot all about the mess up from the day before. We waited for tickets out side Virgin Records in sub zero temp ( not really but close) with the wind cutting throuh us the whole time. The people from Music Choice let her do a spot for the internet and then we walked up to MTV. Later at webster Hall, I was feeling poorly and very drained, but I could not disappoint my youngest child, So we went up stairs to watch the show from a seat in a lounge area.
We had no idea that while we were sitting there the Band MCR was going to walk right by us and talk to us. Trisha was lost for words, and after a few pictures with the Band members...I was her hero for a moment in her life.
